就中國政府近期大規模拘捕內地維權律師及公民事件,中國維權律師關注組、香港市民支援愛國民主運動聯合會、香港天主教正義和平委員會以及香港中文大學學生會,將於8月25日舉辦「釋放律師!往郵政總局寄明信片行動」,把早前收集到超過700張明信片及全球超過50個團體的聯署寄給公安部部長郭聲琨。
誠邀 貴機構派員採訪有關活動。

是次行動旨在進一步向當局施壓,並呼籲香港及國際社會繼續關注。自7月9日中國政府進行大規模抓捕以來,至今仍然有17名人士被違法拘禁,或是處於失蹤狀態超過4個星期,其中包括律師及其助理,以及律師事務所人員。
我們亦希望透過活動讓市民以實際行動表態,譴責當局罔顧司法程序正義、違反中國法律及國際司法及人權準則的行為。

Movements of China (HK Alliance), the
Justice and Peace Commission of the Hong Kong Catholic Diocese, and the Student
Union of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. We will be mailing more than 700
postcards collected earlier from the public and the joint statement signed by
over 50 organizations to Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun.

The event aims at putting pressure on the Chinese government and to call
for public’s continuous concern for the 17 persons (lawyers, their assistants and law firm staff) who are
still in arbitrary detention, secret detention or still disappeared for over 4
weeks since the crackdown on 9 July 2015.

The event is also meant to allow citizens express their discontentment by practical
